The grandeur of Baahubali is what has kept people on the tenterhooks, even for its second installment. The characters are layered and each has something to add to the role. What works even better is the fact that Anushka Shetty to finds a good place as Devasena, a warrior queen who is strong yet uncompromising when it comes to her self-respect.
Rajamouli has created the necessary magic and exuberance in Bahubali 2 which really serves as the conclusion from every possible angle. One can easily see the semblance of Ramayana when after his defeat and death, Bhallal Deva’s golden statue sees a demolition. The Indian roots so typically portrayed in the film are an important highlight in the film. It is an amalgamation of Indian mythology, the many stories of kings and kingdoms found in Indian children’s literature and top-notch VFX.
