Veteran South Indian film actor Krishna Kumari passes away at 84: Film Industry deeply mourns the loss!

Veteran South Indian film actor Krishna Kumari, who was battling blood cancer for quite a while, sadly passed away on Wednesday.
The 84-year-old actress, who was administered under chemotherapy recently, took her last breath at her residence in Krishna Kumari Estate, near Uttarahalli.
She has acted in more than 150 films, mostly in south Indian languages including notable movies such as BhatktaKanakadasa, Swarna Gouri, Ashasundari, Dashavathaara, and Chandrakumar. Born in 1933, the actress started her career as lead lady in N T Rama Rao`s NavvitheNavarathanalu.
The beautiful actress faced the silver screen at a time when women from Hindu Brahmin caste were denied to take the stage. But this rebel followed her sister Janaki`s footsteps and tried her luck at acted in the Telugu movies.
