This year Bollywood has given us some of the most remarkable movies and we are eagerly waiting to see what the industry has for us in this week. And as always, Bollywood won’t let you down as this weekend we have some excellent movies with unique concepts.

So here we have compiled a list of the upcoming releases on the week with the much-needed information.

High Jack:

The Akarsh Khurana directed ‘Stoner comedy’ Film stars Sumeet Vyas, Mantra and Sonnalli Seygall in prominent roles. The film is being produced by Phantom Films in association with OTT video service Viu, released its trailer on 27 March 2018 which gave us some sky-high’ expectations. It revolves around a group of four first-time hijackers who try to hijack a plane but somehow gets the whole plane high, and that results in a series of wacky events. The trailer looks quite promising.

Khajoor Pe Atke:

The family comedy movie directed by Harsh Chhaya and produced by Amrit Sethia under Welcome Friends Production banner stars Vinay Pathak, Manoj Pahwa, Seema Bhargava, Alka Amin and many more. The makers have chosen one of the toughest genres to crack and the debutant director seems to have truly cracked it which reminded us of some of the popular comedies of yesteryear. The trailer makes the film look like a laugh-riot based on human desires and greed. It is about a family who comes to see an ICU-admitted relative but the members seem more interested in the ancestral property and touring around Mumbai.

Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain:

The Sanjay Mishra, Pankaj Tripathi, Brijendra Kala, Ekavali Khanna, Anshuman Jha and Shivani Raghuvanshi featuring film is directed by Harish Vyas. The film is set in Varanasi and revolves around three couples and their challenging relationships. The concept is cleverly depicted by the makers which bring culture, tradition, financial woes, family, and love into a film that crosses language and social odds. To add the icing on the cake is the mind-blowing performances of the lead actors. The movie is like a fresh breath of air to the industry unlike the Western perception of Bollywood films which our audience can easily relate to.

For a true movie buff, this weekend will be a lottery with some of the most simple yet complicated movies in the list.

So what are you waiting for? Book your tickets to secure your seats and enjoy these Bollywood treats!
