Lusting for dusty sandunes and Arabian landscape?

This weekend we have something different for you. Here are 5 best Arabic adaptations of Bollywood songs for a sultry Sunday afternoon.

Swag Se Swagat:

Singer: Rabih Baroud and Brigitte Yaghi

Gear up for the Arabic version of Swag Se Swagat, the hit song featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. The Bollywood spy thriller Tiger Zinda Hai, filmed extensively in Abu Dhabi, is infused with a generous dose of Arabic flavor. The theme of the song, which focuses on brotherhood and peace, remains intact. Tiger Zinda Hai, produced by Yash Raj Films, is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger and released in the UAE on December 21.

“As the song is a chartbuster here in India, and the film is shot in the Middle East and focuses on a major issue that affects the region, we were very keen to engage with audiences there. Dubbing the song in a local language is a way to connect with audiences in the Middle East, as Hindi films have huge appeal there and Salman Khan is the biggest superstar in the region,” said director Ali Abbas Zafar in a statement.

Dhoom Machale:

Singer: Naya

While Dhoom and Dhoom 2 had chart-busting music, the Arabic lyric version of the earlier track is sexier than ever. Arabian pop star Naya has taken this Pritam composition to a new level. Dhoom is all about energy and a lot of crazy!

Go rash..go wild..go Dhoom!

Zaalima:

Singer: Grini & Jamila

Grini who took down the Internet with the Arabic version of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan`s `Fan` anthem is back with the Arabic version of `Zaalima`. The lyrics have been penned by Jalal El Hamdaoui. Ace singers Grini & Jamila have lent their vocals to the track.  `Raees` is set against the backdrop of alcohol prohibition in Gujarat. The film also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a key role. It also marks Pakistani actress Mahira`s entry into Bollywood. The video is beautiful enough to make you fall in love, all over again.

Fall in love with...and in the dunes.

Kaho Na Kaho: Tamally Maak

Singer: Amr Diab

The orchestration definitely stands out. Sayeed Quadri is simply amazing as ever. The song is definitely one of the best of the year so far. Based on the concept of extra-marital relationship, Murder, the latest venture by Bhatts oozes out starring sex goddess Mallika Sherawat, Imran Hashmi and Ashmit Patel in leading roles. Inspired by a Hollywood flick "Unfaithful", Murder has complete ingredients to suit the requirements of the cine-goers who come to cinema halls for the purpose of entertainment and quality stuff only.

Jabra Fan:

Singer: Grini

The "Fan" anthem has already been recorded in many Indian languages like Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Hindi and the best version of the song to be out is the Arabic one! Sung by a Moroccan singer Abdel fettah Grini, King Khan himself unveiled the track on stage during TOIFA! The FAN anthem in the Arabic language got an excellent response, especially from the Middle East Gulf Countries.
