New Year demands some new faces when it comes to Bollywood. 2018 is packed with some amazing films and a lot of new faces will be seen in these films. We are going to talk about 10 such Bollywood debuts of 2018.
Karan Johar volunteered to debut Jhanvi, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor`s beautiful daughter, in Dhadak, a revamp of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat, which is being directed by Shashank Khaitan. Being the little girl of veteran actors has made Jhanvi Kapoor`s Bollywood debut a big standout. From Karan Johar`s Student of The Year 2 to the Hindi adaptation of The Fault in The Stars, Jhanvi`s name has been related to every probable project. So finally when the official declaration about her first film was made, it was bound to make headlines. She will be seen opposite another new face - Ishaan Khatter.
Ishaan Khatter - Dhadak
Shahid Kapoor`s younger sibling Ishaan Khatter was first seen in prestigious movie producer Majid Majidi`s international project Beyond The Clouds opposite Malavika Mohanan. Be that as it may, in Bollywood, Ishaan will be gracing the silver screen for the first time opposite Jhanvi in Shashank Khaitan`s Dhadak. Hitting the screens on July 6, Dhadak will see Ishaan in the part of Madhur as found in the Marathi blockbuster Sairat. The movie is being bankrolled by Karan Johar`s Dharma Productions.
Known for her part in the web series, Mithila Palkar already rules the internet. Furthermore, now the wonderful actor is good to go to vanquish B-town too. Wonder with whom is she making her debut? It`s none other than Dulquer Salman. We just can hardly wait to see the two in `Karwaan` together. The actors had travelled across Ooty and Kochi for a month-long calendar prior to 2017. Another one of the famous star kids in tinsel town is Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh`s girl Sara Ali Khan. The news of her debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Kapoor`s Kedarnath has shaken the business. Just like Jhanvi, fans were crazy after Sara`s photos from the film were released. Bankrolled by KriArj Entertainment, Kedarnath hits the theatres on December 21 this year. However, even before her debut, Sara has another project with Clean Slate Films (Anushka Sharma`s home generation) in her kitty as of now. Indeed, she is drop-dead gorgeous, thanks to her royal genes. The young lady has a gigantic fan following even before she ventured into the business and one can see that she is setting down deep roots!
He is the sweetheart of Malayalam films and a complete heartthrob. Dulquer Salmaan is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Irrfan Khan in `Karwaan`. All the way from the UK, Banita Sandhu is good to go to kickstart her career in B-town and she couldn`t have asked better. In any case, Banita isn`t a new face, after all, she has prior featured in various advertisements including the one for Vodafone and Doublemint "Ek Ajnabee Haseena Se." Shoojit has previously directed Banita in one of his ads, and he thought that she had a specific `freshness` to add to the Varun Dhawan film.
