You already know that Bollywood is literally nothing without the Khans! By khans, we mean obviously Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Amir Khan. For more than two decades Bollywood cinema has been ruled by these three Khans. Despite occasional flops, the troika of Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir continues to stand tall in comparison to the other blue-eyed boys of Tinseltown.

Be it Aamir, Salman or Shah Rukh, the three have religions of fans and their sole presence on screen can make or break a project. We have a solid proof of that fact which is Salman Khan’s Tubelight that hit the theaters last year. Despite being widely bashed by critics, the Kabir Khan film Tubelight crossed the Rs 100 crore mark with an ease and to add up to the surprise that even became one of the highest grossers of the year. Talking about SRK, the audience went crazy over Raees and it was showered with praises by critics as well. On the other hand, Aamir Khan’s 2016 release Dangal is still fresh in our memories as one of the best cinematic experiences of recent times. So now you must be wondering what the Khans are up to in 2018? well! you have come to the right place. While Salman is coming to theatres for Race 3 on Eid, Aamir’s period war drama Thugs of Hindostan will be ruling on Diwali. Last but not the least, King khan`s Zero hits the screens on Christmas this year. Basically, movie buffs are in for a festive year ahead. Here are more details about the Khan`s upcoming projects.

Salman Khan:

After Tubelight’s terrible performance at the box office (according to the standard of Salman Bhai’s films), Salman Bhai was back with a storm with Tiger Zinda Hai which has become the highest grossing Hindi cinema of 2017. However, for next year, Salman is all set to roar on the silver screen with the third installment of the popular action franchise, Race. Helmed by Remo D’Souza, Race 3 is scheduled for an Eid release on June 14 this year.

Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen romancing with Salman. We are still in awe of their crackling chemistry earlier in Kick; let’s see how this actioner pans out. Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor will also be representing his role as the witty cop Robert D’Costa. The first two installments were headlined by Saif Ali Khan and it will be interesting to see how Salman fits into his shoes in the sequel. Race 3 also stars Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem in important roles.

Aamir Khan:

In 2017, Aamir Khan was seen in an extended cameo in the drama film Secret Superstar. But just like all his other roles, we loved him in this also. This year though, Aamir is treating fans with his full-blown rugged avatar in the period drama Thugs of Hindostan. And apart from his leaked intense look, the other fact that has made us excited is the entire film’s cast. For the first time, Aamir will beshare screen space with another Bollywood maverick — The Big B.

Helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Thugs of Hindostan will be going on November 7 in the Diwali weekend. The film has been shot in Mumbai, Thailand, and Malta. This movie also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Though little details about the project are strictly under wraps, the leaked looks of Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan had taken the internet by storm.

Shah Rukh Khan:

Bollywood’s Baadshah had releases in the year 2017 — Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal. But his upcoming movie with filmmaker Aanand L Rai has been the talk of the B-town ever since it was announced that SRK will be essaying a role of a vertically challenged man. In a quirky way, SRK had recently released a teaser of the upcoming film and revealed the title of the most talked project, Zero.

Apart from Shah Rukh, Zero also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in important roles. We fell in love with the trio Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan earlier. As per reports, Shah Rukh will be playing a character that is star struck while Katrina will be playing a celebrity. Zero is going to theaters on December 21st, cashing in on the Christmas weekend.

Seems like we have to get ready for the wrath of the Khans in 2018!
