Sir, Sir, O Sir (Sir) – 

This 90s classic starred Pooja Bhatt and Atul Agnihotri as college students. Naseeruddin Shah played the role of a college teacher who helps one of his students deal with the problem of stammering. The song has since attained a cult status.

Bum Bum Bole (Taare Zameen Par) – 

The role of a teacher was played lovingly by Aamir Khan who helps one of his students suffering from dyslexia in coping with the problems he faces at school. The playful song sees Aamir dancing around with his students and teaching them important life lesons.

Kholo Kholo (Taare Zameen Par) – 

From the same film, this song by Shankar Mahadevan is more of a motivational song. Darsheel Safari played the role of Ishaan Awasthi who, with the help of his teacher, overcomes his fear and apprehensions of dyslexia and finds an alternative approach to studying

Ruk Jana Nahin (Imtihaan) – 

The film stars Vinod Khanna as a college teacher who takes it upon himself to bring back some wayward students back on track. The song is sung by Kishore Kumar and written by Majrooh Sultanpuri still strikes the deepest chords of one’s heart.

Masti Ki Pathshala (Rang De Basanti ) – 

The song is one of the most popular ones depicting student life and the fun the time engages them in. With an ensemble cast, the film explores freedom struggle simultaneously while showing the lighter side of student life. This song, in particular, has been a student favorite for long.
