Taapsee Pannu on Padmaavat: Explains her reasons to oppose Swara Bhaskar’s open letter on Padmaavat!

Swara Bhaskar’s open letter dissing Padmaavat has sure created some hue and cry over the internet. Her letter suggested that Padmaavat reduces women to ‘talking vaginas’

Dil Junglee actress Taapsee Pannu has respectfully opposed Swara`s motion saying although she has no disregard for  Swara Bhaskar`s opinion on `Padmaavat`, but, the actress refused to give into the same believing in the same ideology.

She gave her comments on the matter after Swara Bhaskar shamed Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the "glorification" of `Jauhar` practice in an open letter. 

The Naam Shabana actress said that everyone has a right to express their opinion and the definition of feminist as well as feminism needs to be widened. She further added that every movie does not need to be analyzed under a microscope.

Taapsee, meanwhile, will begin filming Anurag Kashyap`s Manmarziyan in February, in which she stars opposite Vicky Kaushal. She said that workshops and shooting have kept her busy all these days and that she has no time for controversies.

She was last seen in Judwaa 2 and awaits the release of her upcoming movie DilJuunglee.
