The exceptional actress of Bollywood, Rani Mukerji is turning 40 years old today. Born to Ram Mukherjee and Krishna Mukherjee on 21st March of 1978, Rani belongs to a family with a filmy background. However, her hard work and dedication towards the industry make her unique.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998)


Starting her career with a supporting character in her father’s Bengali movie Biyer Phool in 1996, Rani got her first blockbuster in 1998 with the movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Though playing as a supporting actor her acting in this flick was well appreciated by critics. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji the movie is a romantic drama, where Rani played the character of Tina.

Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (2006)


Based on a theme of love story that destroys relationships, the movie was a blockbuster overseas. Playing the character of an orphan, Maya, Rani gave her best to stand out in the audience. The power of true love has perfectly been picturized in this movie.

No One Killed Jessica (2011)


Showing her versatility in acting Rani played a firm character in the biographic thriller movie No One Killed Jessica. Co-starring with Vidya Balan, Rani played the character of a news reporter who helps the victim to have justice. Written and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the movie received a positive response from the critics and also did a good job at the box office as well.
