After a long period of 27 years, two gems of Bollywood cinema are going to hit the theatre together. Here we’re talking about the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor. They will be seen playing as Father-Son in their upcoming movie 102 Not Out.
In this movie, Big B will be seen as a 102-year-old father whereas Mr. Kapoor will be his 75-year-old son. Speaking of the movie, it’s a comedy centered film based on an unusual father-son relationship.
Big B conveyed "Teaming up with Chintuji after so many years and so many successful historic films, has been the greatest joy during `102 Not Out`. A novel story, competent direction and a qualified crew have made the experience even greater. I know the country loves the younger, fresh and vibrant new generation, but whoever said that the oldies are not capable of doing something similar, we know you may not love us, but given a chance, we shall not disappoint you either. And that is as immodest as I can get. BADUMBAAAAAAAAA!"
In his term, Rishi Kapoor stated that being in this film brought back a lot of fond memories that he had shared with Amitji during his younger days. The reunion on such a special and unusual film makes him really glad. As we can see, both of the actors are having a great joy while working together after a long period of time.
Directed by Umesh Shukla, the movie “102 Not Out” is written by Saumya Joshi and co-produced by Treetop Entertainment, Umesh Shukla`s Benchmark Pictures and Sony Pictures International Productions.
