Neeraj Pandey`s Aiyaary which is making headlines lately for getting into a rift with the Censor Board released its `Aiyaary Poem` almost a week ago. Manoj Bajpayee in his usual deep gravelly voice recites the poem as clips from the trailer play in the background. The poem goes something like:

Mann bairagi...tan anuragi

kadam kadam dushwari hai,

Jeevan jeena sahal na jao

bahaut badi fankari hai.

Auron jaise ho kar bhi..hum ba-izzat hain basti main...

Kuch logon ka seedha pan hai,

Kuch apni `aiyaary` hai

Aiyaary has already treated us with some hard hitting dialogues, and this poem just adds further to the audio delight. The lines from the poem are a cookie crumble trail. The storyline of Aiyaary basically revolves around two army officers, having completely different views, yet right in their own ways.

The film portrays Sidharth Malhotra as an army officer sharing a mentor-protégé bond with Manoj Bajpayee. Neeraj Pandey’s action drama Aiyaary is still waiting for clearance from CBFC. “Since Aiyaary is set against the army backdrop, the Defense Ministry wants to review the film”, sources close to the development said.

Besides having Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead, this espionage thriller also features senior actors Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Adil Hussain and Kumud Mishra. Produced by Shital Bhatia, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Motion Picture Capital Aiyaary is slated to release on 9th February. It will be a box office clash with R.Balki`s Padman starring Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte, and Sonam Kapoor.
