Kajol Mukherjee was born on 5 August 1974 in Mumbai to the Mukherjee-Samarth family. She has received several awards including six Filmfare Awards and the Padma Shri in 2011 by the Government of India. She made her Bollywood debut in 1992 romance ‘Bekhudi’ but her first commercial hit was 1993 thriller ‘Baazigar’. After which she gave some amazing performances in movies like Yeh Dillagi (1994), Ishq (1997), Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998), Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha (1998) and Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain (1999).
