Ultimately, it’s an end to the anticipation for the much-awaited King Of Dharavi, Rajinikanth’s Kaala trailer with some power packed dialogues and enough slo-mo walking shots. The movie is a single liner story which is moderately motivated by Mario Puzo`s Godfather and the minute-and-a-half long trailer gives us most of the glances of the main leads.

The trailer also starts with Nana Patekar`s voice who promises people to make Dharavi, Rajinikanth’s village, a better place to live, just like the teaser. The first half shows Rajinikanth, who plays a leader of the people (who lose their land to Nana Patekar) hanging out with his friends. It also shows a thin thread of romance or a love triangle between Rajinikanth and the two beautiful heroines Eeswari Rao and Huma Qureshi. But all of a sudden the mood completely changes and we get to see Kaala`s activism and captaincy in the slums of Dharavi. It ends with an invigorating and electrifying speech by the legend, trying to assemble his people into a rebellion of sorts, and addressing the issues of land and water rights.

Earlier in March, producer of the film Dhanush released the one-minute long teaser of ‘Kaala’, which received a gigantic and terrific response from Thalaivar fans and touched a massive 26 million views on YouTube. Although it is reported that the movie might be delayed once again due to the recent Sterlite protest killings, the makers have confirmed it`s released date.

The Wunderbar Films production, ‘Kaala’ is one of the considerable Tamil releases of this year and with some of the most famous and versatile actors in prominent roles. The film has already finished the censor formalities and has been passed with ‘U/A’ certificate. The movie is directed by Pa. Ranjith and music are given by Santhosh Narayanan.
