Kapil Sharma is prepared with his next film, Firangi. The trailer of the film released on Tuesday too much gratefulness, earning lakhs of viewers in YouTube in a matter of hours. It certainly looks more encouraging than Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon however it is a huge takeoff from the sort of comic drama for which the on-screen character is known.
Firangi is set in the British time and recounts the tale of Manga, the small time youngster in a town who believes the Britishers are not bad people. The trailer starts with him telling a story to a kid, the story obviously being his. His `extraordinary expertise` nets him a job with the British. Be that as it may, he falls in love with a decent, Punjabi young lady (Ishita Dutta) who simply happens to be the granddaughter of one of the leaders of the nearby development against the British. Clearly, this sentiment does not run down well with the old man and the romantic tale goes to a sudden end. Nonetheless, an unforeseen incident demonstrates him wrong and Manga betrays the outside rulers. Will he be loyal to his people or termed as a traitor? Only the film will tell us!
Firangi has been directed by Rajiev Dhingra and is all set to release on 24th November 2017! Let’s hope it helps clean up Kapil’s ill repute and gives a fresh start to his film and television career.
