Karan Singh Grover is probably one of the foremost actors from Indian television to have given some serious bodybuilding and hunka hunka hotness goals! Married to bombshell Bipasha Basu, the man celebrates his birthday today.

We take a look at 5 drool-worthy performances of Karan Singh Grover

Dill Mill Gayye –

This hospital TV drama was where the stardom began for this man with a hot bod. He was studying to be a hotelier when he was given a chance to be a part of the entertainment industry. He won the Gladrags Model Hunt in 2004 and went ahead to make TV his forte. His first venture included Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi on MTV, Solhah Singaarr, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and more before landing a role as Armaan in Dill Mill Gayye.

Qubool Hai –

This show catapulted him into a serious actor. He played the role of a man who believed in patriarchal ideologies and forces his wife to adhere to those. The role made him a household name and gave a serious angle to his career. Though his exit from the show was mired in controversies, audiences were left sour-faced when they couldn’t see him setting the screen on fire.

Dil Dostii Dance –

Karan played the role of a hot and bold dance teacher in this youth-centric show after Dill Mill Gayye. He had earlier participated in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Khatron Ke Khiladi where he was highly appreciated. The dance training coupled with his well-chiseled looks made girls swoon over his onscreen as well as off-screen persona.

Alone –

This film was Karan’s debut in Bollywood. Starring alongside Bipasha Basu, he set the screen on fire with his bold, macho image and his chemistry with Bipasha. Karan was going through a tough time then because of his split with wife Jennifer Winget. However, he did manage to make himself noticeable even though the movie bombed at the BO.

Hate Story 3 –

Karan played a guy with a grey image in the movie alongside Zareen Khan and Sharman Joshi. The songs coupled with his performance and onscreen image made it possible for him to attract audiences and keep in tune with the character of a wicked businessman lusting after another man’s wife because of a sordid past.
