Bollywood`s bad boy Salman Khan got his latest blockbuster released which seems quite promising already. With Salman Khan’s `Tiger Zinda Hai` in the theatres,   fans are on with their hymns and praises. The 50 something actor has been following an image-cleansing routine over the years, with his humanitarian work.

But one thing is for sure: Salman and controversy go hand in hand. Whether it be Bollywood or politics, the `Maine Pyar Kiya` star has never cringed from giving his opinion loud and clear.

Let us have a look at a few of our favorite `Salman-oops` moment. We are proud to present:

Salman and his thoughts on:

1. On getting the feel, of a raped woman

National women`s group, film critics, and NCW went crazy when Salman Khan during promotions of his movie Sultan said the training sessions for his new film made him feel like a "raped woman". "It is the most difficult thing," the 51-year-old actor told reporters when asked about his training schedule. "When I used to walk out of that ring, it used to be like a raped woman walking out." Khan who is often considered as a man with a heart of gold was slammed by social media and feminist groups for his insensitive remark. A Twitter user even came up with a comment "It`s our fault that we have given stardom to that misogynistic idiot!".

2. On Hollywood bound divas

Sallu Bhai is well known for his funny bone and of course, giving away impressive one-liners. The `Tiger Zinda Hai` star pulled legs of Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra at IIFA, Madrid saying "These two have gone abroad now. Doing films overseas. They have got nothing to do with Indian films now,". Although the comment was made on a light-hearted note, it went viral in a matter of few hours all over the internet. The divas, however, took the comment with grace and in a breezy manner, flashing their million dollar smile.

3. On calling Katrina a `mazdoor`

Seems like Salman Khan controversies are never ending The superstar was invited to  Manoharbhai Patel Institute Of Engineering College in Gondia as the guest of honor. When Rajat Sharma, who hosted the event, asked him as to what he thought of Katrina`s statement that she owed her success to him, the `Tiger Zinda Hai` star quickly replied "Katrina says that whatever I am today, is because of Salman Khan. Katrina Kaif has achieved everything on her own because she is very hard working. I have NEVER seen a more hardworking girl than Katrina in my whole life. She is India`s biggest star for you. But according to me, Katrina is a mazdoor (laborer). That is how much she works on herself. You guys have to learn from her." He left us all guessing what he exactly meant by the word `mazdoor`. Katrina came to his defense by saying this is more of a compliment to her rather than a comment. ( sigh!) Kat and her sweet naivety

4. On 26/11 attacks being hyped

Controversy`s child Salman Khan a.k.a Sallu Miyaan found himself in hot water when during an interview with Pakistani media, claimed that the 26/11 attacks were hyped because `elite people` were targeted. The comment prompted angry responses from all over the country and raised an outcry in several quarters, including the state government and political parties. Here are his exact words "it was the elite that was targeted this time, five-star hotels and all. So they panicked. Then they got up and spoke about it. My question is why not before. Attacks have happened in trains and small towns too, but no one talked about them so much". The actor however publicly apologized for his ill-informed and insensitive  comments soon after and said to record all his interviews so that there was no scope for controversy.

5. On Yakub Memon`s innocence

Word’s on the street: Salman Khan’s `Tiger Zinda Hai` has sweeped off mulahs in the Box Office. The `Tubelight` actor who has given us some serious `desh bhakti` vibes with movies such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Tiger, gave some really upsetting comments about Yakub Memon hanging, suggesting Yakub Memon is innocent and should not be hanged for the acts of his brother ‘Tiger’ Memon. His initial tweets were, “Hang Tiger”, said Salman “Brother is being hanged for tiger”, followed by "1 innocent man killed is killing the humanity”. Father Salim Khan, tagged the comments as ridiculous and meaningless, asking public not to take Salman seriously.
