South Superstar Dhanush made us fall in love with him with his extraordinary performance in his debutant movie in Bollywood, i.e. Raanjhanaa. Though Dhanush has only acted in a few Hindi movies, he is a star of immense talent and recently made his Hollywood debut with the movie, “The Extraordinary Journey of a Fakir” which is receiving high acclamation.

A national award winner for the best actor and also widely popular and loved for his song “Why this Kolaveri Di”, here’s a look at the best performances of Dhanush which made us fall in love with him-

Pudhupettai is regarded as the best movie of Dhanush till date in which he portrays the character of a guy, who in his childhood falls into the prey of street begging and slowly from there becomes the greatest underworld don. The movie with excellent script and storytelling was backed by the superb performance of Dhanush as a lead.

2.Kaadhal Kondein

Kaadhal Kondein is undoubtedly one of the best performances of Dhanush where he excels playing a character with grey shades. The story revolves around an introvert orphan guy who finds difficult to cope up with the college life and then meets with a girl for whom he becomes obsessed and then shows the psychotic angle of his character.  The movie was an immense hit and Dhanush acting was at its very best.

Dhanush made a grand entry in Bollywood with the super hit movie Raanjhanaa. A love story depicting that not romancing but caring for each other is true love even if your lover is engaged to someone else, the movie just brought tears to the eyes of every true lover.

Based on the theme of supernatural powers and reincarnations, Dhanush played four different types of role in this movie which was set in four different eras. Needless to say, the movie along with his acting was superb.

It was the second appearance in Bollywood for Dhanush with megastar Amitabh Bachchan which sadly did not work out well at the box office. However, the movie based on the life of an existing superstar and a yesteryear superstar and the terrific execution to show the battle of their egos, received great appreciation from the critics.
