Ishq, jo toofani dariya se bagawat kar jaye voh ishq,

Bhare darwaar main jo duniya se ladjaye voh ishq,

Jo mehboob ko dekhe toh khuda ko bhul jaye voh ishq.

You must`ve already guessed about whom we are talking! Yes! She`s none other than our beauty Deepika Padukone who carries impish dimpled grin. Boys in the tinsel town have taken a keen interest in History since she portrayed the role of Mastani and girls have started donning her nerdy look since she portrayed Naina. It is queen supreme’s 32nd birthday and we can’t help but get awestruck by her progress graph! From being the undisputed Queen for Bollywood to making a Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel, all we can say is that we have fallen in love with not just her beauty but also her hard work and journey. We take a sneak peek at 5 times the beauty wooed us with her versatility and acting.

Shanti Priya/Sandy in Om Shanti Om

After watching Deepika Padukone in this film, we absolutely got impressed by the old-world charm that she perfectly embraced, isn’t it? Boy o boy! She managed to steal our hearts with her innocent acting and killing smile. In the film, she was popularly known as the ‘Dreamy Girl’ which is homage to baby faced beauty Hema Malini’s Dream Girl stature of the 70s. The whole country went gaga over Deepika Padukone’s uber look in the movie, Om Shanti Om. Deepika Padukone debuted with great pomp which allowed her to grab the fame very soon.

Meenamma in Chennai Express

Didn`t you love to see Deepika Padukone talking in a flawless fun South soaked Indian accent in Rohit Shetty`s Chennai Express? We absolutely enjoyed watching Deepika Padukone as Meena, the don’s daughter with the thick accent, who meets Rahul on Chennai Express and turns his life upside down. Padukone’s spirited performance even made that accent attractive.  Looks like the babe has got the Tamilian twang accent spot on!

Mastani in Bajirao Mastani

Do you remember Ranveer Singh saying that he couldn`t take his eyes off of Deepika in Bajirao Mastani? Obviously, we are still drunk on her stunning shimmery golden attire and a mandolin in her hand. Deepika was seen playing Mastani who was head over heels in love with Bajirao. Deepika`s Mastani remains muted and you occasionally get a glimpse of dark eyes drunk on love, the fire of a fighter-princess.  Her performance is wishy-washy throughout the movie. Deepika`s face is so luminous that she seems lit from within!

Naina in Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani

Don`t you kinda relate to the dialogue when Naina (Deepika) tells Bunny (Ranbir), “You can’t do everything. Something will always get left out?”You must have already watched this movie more than a million times literally, isn`t it? (JK) But honestly, Naina’s words definitely strike a chord in our hearts.  We absolutely fell in love with her transformation from the spectacled geeky girl who was scared to go on a trip alone to the fun-loving carefree girl who sings and dances!

Leela in Ramleela

It was love at first sight on the day when the entire town is playing Holi! Yes! We are talking about the pulsating chemistry that the lead pair Deepika and `I`ve-got-fire-in-my-loins` actor Ranveer Singh Ranveer unfold from the time they meet till the climax of the film which is still fresh in our memories. The Sanada clan girl Leela falls in love at first sight, with her enemy Ram, a Rajadi. Deepika won hearts with her aura. She was all over the screen with the all-consuming ‘junoon,’ the bitterness, the sauciness, the arrogance that constitutes Leela so effectively! The film could well be titled after her! Only her!

Looks like what Ranveer Singh said in Ramleela is true, that

Leela Jaisi Koi nahin! (No one out there is like Leela-Deepika)
